Edunet Foundation (EF), in collaboration with Shell, SRF and Directorate General of Training (DGT) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), is implementing a skilling program focused on Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies, green skills, and future-ready competencies. The initiative targets both students and teachers across National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) and Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).
Why EV?
Integrating Electric Vehicle (EV) technology across vocational ecosystem is crucial to prepare students for India’s rapidly growing EV sector. With increasing demand for expertise in manufacturing, maintenance, battery systems, and charging infrastructure, EV-focused training equips learners with hands-on skills in electrical systems, power electronics, and battery management. This enhances employability of the work force. By promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, these programs bridge traditional skills with modern technology, creating a competitive, future-ready workforce.
